Royal London Asset Management has appointed Jane Coffey to the new role of head of equities as it continues to strengthen its operation following the exit of chief executive Chris Phillips.

As head of equities, Coffey will support RLAM's new chief executive Andy Carter, who replaces Phillips and retains his previous responsibilities as chief investment officer.
