Royal Trust buys Perpetual's custody unit

Royal Trust Global Securities Services, a unit of Royal Bank of Canada, is buying Perpetual Fund Services Australia for an initial price of A$30m (€18m).

Perpetual Fund Services, the custody, investment administration and unit registry business of Perpetual Trustees Australia, has assets under administration of A$76bn and annual revenue of approximately A$38m.
