Royalblue, a provider of trading technology, has appointed Simon Barnby as business development manager to spearhead the development of its market data and trading workstation.

Barnby will lead Royalblue's effort to establish a presence in the UK desktop equities market with its Fidessa Workstation. He was part of the original team at ICV - now part of Thomson Financial - that developed the Topic3 Workstation and Topic3 Trader.
