Rubicon Fund Management has recruited former Citigroup analyst Sean Wolpert, a move that reunites him with former colleague Richard Cookson, who joined the global macro hedge fund manager as head of research after leaving the US bank roughly a year ago.

Cookson and Wolpert were among the Citi staff who produced Quadrant, the private banking unit's monthly investment outlook publication for investors.
