Morgan Stanley managing director Huw van Steenis was among a host of City people who put the eurozone crisis to one side for a short while to take part in the Royal Parks half marathon earlier this month.

Van Steenis has raised roughly £9,000 for the Rugby Portobello Trust, a local educational and youth charity based in North Kensington that helps children from underprivileged backgrounds to gain useful skills.
