VTB Capital, the Russian investment bank, is letting go most of its employees in London after being hit with sanctions, according to bankers at the firm.

The Russian bank, which has around 150 employees in London according to its most recent accounts, began making redundancies last week, according to people contacted by Financial News. The office will remain open, but most staff are expected to exit by the end of this month, one person said.
