Peter Roisin, general counsel at RWE Energie, the German utility, has joined Clifford Chance Pünder as the world's largest law firm increases the German presence of its global energy team.

Roisin's arrival brings the number of partners in Clifford Chance's German energy group to 11. The group is spread between its Frankfurt, Berlin and Düsseldorf offices. Roisin will be based in Düsseldorf.
