Standard & Poor's, the financial information services firm, has acquired Portfolio Management Data, a bank loan analytical, pricing and performance data company.

The acquisition will enable S&P to offer issuers, investors and bank loan syndicators a single source for all data and analysis, as well as credit ratings, critical to structuring, selling, securitising and monitoring syndicated loans and loan portfolios.
