Standard & Poor's (S&P) has hired two former fund managers, Glenn Meyer and Steven Lowe, to work in its European mutual funds ratings business.

Meyer was a senior fund manager at Pavilion Asset Management. A spokeswoman for the UK investment house said that he left in April 2002. Previously he was at Lloyds Investment Managers. Meyer will be covering equity-based funds at S&P.
