S&P appoints Aon's Hunter as adviser

Standard & Poor's, the rating agency, has hired David Hunter, former head of manager research at consulting firm Aon, as an adviser.

His appointment could pave the way for S&P to introduce a manager assessment service, which has until now been the preserve of investment consultants, according to UK fund management sources.
