The UK’s finance and insurance sectors stand to lose €5.4bn in investment over the next decade should the government fail to secure a good deal for the City in its Brexit negotiations, London Mayor Sadiq Khan has warned.

A study by Cambridge Econometrics, commissioned and published today by the Mayor, cited a loss of passporting rights and a failure of the UK’s finance sector to secure a deal on immigration for its workforce as key downside risks.
