Private equity firm Sagard has bought a majority stake in Kiloutou, a French construction equipment and building tools rental business.

Sagard will hold 51% of the business, founder, Franky Mulliez, will retain 34% stake and the management, 15%. Mulliez is a member of the founding family of Auchan, France's second largest retailer.
