Sander and Warnholtz resurface at Augusta

Gerard Sander, a former head of investment banking for France at West LB Panmure, and Thomas Warnholtz, who used to lead the German business of Intermediate Capital Group, the mezzanine provider, have emerged as partners at Augusta & Co, the London-based mid-market merchant bank.

Sander left West LB in October 2002 after two years with the bank. Before joining West LB he set up his own boutique, Ergom Finance, focusing on new economy businesses. Prior to this Sander was an executive director at Lazard where he spent 15 years.
