Santander has hired a McKinsey adviser as a managing director for its fledgling $100 million fintech investment fund, as the bank looks to take advantage of growing opportunities in the sector.
Mariano Belinky joins the Spanish banking giant's new venture capital fund from McKinsey's corporate and investment banking and global risk management practice in New York, according to a statement from the firm. He was a strategic adviser to banks, asset managers and private equity firms.
