Former JP Morgan banker becomes non-executive chairwoman of sub-prime auto lending unit of Spanish bank

Santander picks Blythe Masters for sub-prime post

Former JP Morgan Chase executive Blythe Masters has been appointed non-executive chairwoman of Santander Consumer USA Holdings, the sub-prime auto lending unit of the Spanish banking company.

Masters will not assume a management role at the Dallas-based auto lending unit, which is 60% owned by Santander Holdings USA, the American holding company for Banco Santander.
