Bank Sarasin, the Swiss private bank, has hired a 20-year veteran as the new head for its Geneva branch, only a week after it announcing a new chief financial officer.

Bas Rijke will take up the post as head of Bank Sarasin's Geneva branch on 1 August 2010. He reports directly to Eric Sarasin, head of the private banking business of Sarasin.
