Savers withdraw Skandia lawsuit

Pension savers in Skandia Liv, the life arm of troubled Swedish financial services firm, have withdrawn their lawsuit against Skandia, expecting compensation from Skandia Liv's own claims against its parent.

Skandia Liv and Skandia last month agreed to go to arbitration to settle the dispute regarding profits from the sale of Skandia Asset Management to Den norske Bank, the Norwegian bank and asset manager, in January 2002.
