Sberbank appoints ex-BAML trader as head of rates

Senior rates trader Sascha Prinz left Bank of America Merrill Lynch last month

A senior rates trader who left Bank of America Merrill Lynch last month has joined the corporate and investment banking unit at Russian bank Sberbank.

Sascha Prinz, who joins as head of rates in the bank's global markets department, will be based in Moscow and report to Maxim Safonov, head of the department.
