Sberbank, Russia's largest bank, is reportedly moving into private banking after hiring a specialist to head the business from rival Alfa Bank last week.

Sergei Borovikov, who has moved from Alfa Bank where he was in charge of the VIP clients department and private capital management, will head the new business at Sberbank.
