An annual conference that brings together equity traders at the world's leading banks, asset managers and exchanges has been targeted by scammers trying to con attendees with bogus hotel bookings.
TradeTech Europe, which is sponsored by the likes of Citigroup and Goldman Sachs, draws a crowd of around 1,000 market professionals every year. The 2018 gathering will take place in Paris in April.
