Scheme takes 17% leap into hedge funds

A pension scheme has made a 17% allocation to a fund of hedge funds, remarkable in light of the fact pension funds in the UK typically allocate between 2% and 3%.

The £59m (€87.5m) Swan Hill Pension Scheme selected wealth management firm Stenham's Universal Funds for its maiden foray into hedge funds.
