Nicola Ralston is set to retire as global head of investment strategy and research at Schroder Investment Management in September, in order to spend more time with her family.

Ralston has worked at Schroder for 22 years. She has spent two and a half years in the top investment slot, where she worked hard to turn the firm round following dark days for performance in the late 1990s.
