Senior UK equity fund manager Jim Tennant is among the latest batch of as many as 20 staff to be made redundant from Schroder Investment Management as it adapts to the changing market.

Schroder has written to consultants to tell them of three client-facing staff whose roles are no longer considered necessary. The highest profile name is Jim Tennant. All three are being considered for other roles within the company.
