Schroder Investment Management lost £2.7bn (€4.4bn) worth of institutional client business in the first half of this year.

In addition to the institutional losses, Schroders saw a loss of £100m from private clients. These losses, which all came from UK clients, were offset by a £800m gain from retail clients to give an overall net loss of £2bn.
