Schroder Investment Management has promoted Richard Brown to the new role of head of pan-European credit research in a shake-up of its global credit team.

Brown, who joined Schroders in 2000 after working for 10 years at NatWest Markets, will manage the six-strong team of research analysts in London. He will report to Jack Davis, the New York-based global head of credit who previously ran the credit research team.
