Schroders beats rival fund managers to stakeholder licence

Schroders has received official approved for its institutional stakeholder pension scheme, becoming the 25th company but the first fund manager to be so licenced.

Schroders will aim its stakeholder pensions at medium to large companies. David Salisbury, Schroders chief executive, said: &quotBy adding stakeholder we can solve virtually any corporate defined contribution pensions need.&quot
