UK fund management giant Schroders was an early adopter of artificial intelligence, having been one of the first to invest in OpenAI — the Microsoft-backed group behind ChatGPT’s launch last year.

Now the FTSE 100-listed asset manager wants its global workforce to experiment with Genie, its own in-house AI, to find ways to apply it across its business.
