The London Stock Exchange Group has appointed Schroders chair Elizabeth Corley to its board as the bourse owner seeks to quell fears over the health of its equity market.

Corley will join LSEG as a non-executive director in the fourth quarter of this year, according to a statement. She will also join LSEG’s risk and nomination committees.
