Schroder Securities and Julie Bower, the analyst who is claiming sex discrimination against the investment bank, have been urged to reach a settlement before the industrial tribunal reconvenes in February next year.

Bower, 35, is claiming sexual discrimination, breach of contract, constructive unfair dismissal and unequal pay against the investment bank. She claims she was forced to leave after earning less than her male colleagues.
