Schroders has hired Andrew Thomson as its new head of property product development and charged him with creating a pooled product aimed at pension funds.

Thomson joins the asset manager from Arlington Property Investors where he was managing director of business development. He has specialised in creating pooled funds and property derivatives for over 10 years.
