Schroders has reported a drop in both profits and assets under management for 2018, as the market falls toward the end of last year took their toll on the UK fund manager.

The UK-listed fund manager also confirmed that Leonie Schroder, daughter of Bruno Schroder and principal heir to the founding family’s interest in the company, will join the board following her father’s death in February.
