Julie Dean, who succeeded star manager Richard Buxton as head of Schroders' £2.2 billion UK Opportunities fund last year, has left after receiving deferred compensation payments linked to the UK fund manager's acquisition of Cazenove Capital.

Schroders announced Monday that Matthew Hudson would replace Dean as manager of the UK Opportunities and £700 million Luxembourg-domiciled ISF2 UK Opportunities funds.
