Schroders, the FTSE-listed fund manager, has informed staff the flexible working arrangements introduced at the beginning of lockdown are to be made permanent.

In a memo to staff last week, the £526bn asset manager said the current arrangements, which allow staff to work from home, or alter their hours, provided this meets the requirements of their team, their manager and their clients, will now be formalised as the company’s ongoing policy.
