Schroders set to name Richard Oldfield as next CEO

Oldfield is being lined up to replace outgoing boss Peter Harrison, who is retiring next year

Schroders, the FTSE 100 listed fund management group, is set to appoint Richard Oldfield as its next chief executive, taking over the top job from Peter Harrison.

Oldfield, who is currently chief financial officer at the £774bn group, joined in October from Big Four accountancy firm PwC, where he worked for more than 20 years.
