COP28 will need to inspire “tougher and more disruptive action” if policymakers and investors want a fighting chance of combatting the climate crisis, Schroders’ sustainability boss has said.
One of the biggest question marks hanging over the UN’s climate summit, which kicks off on 30 November in the United Arab Emirates, is whether the hope of limiting rising global temperatures to 1.5°C — in line with the Paris Agreement — can be kept alive.
