Veit Schuhen, head of asset management and member of the executive board at Julius Baer, the Swiss private bank and asset manager, has left the company after less than a year following a row with other members of the management committee.

In a statement Julius Baer said: "In view of the conflicting viewpoints within the AMF Management Committee regarding leadership style and management processes the board and Veit O. Schuhen have amicably agreed that he will leave the Julius Baer Group."
