Rob Bonfield, former head of UK leveraged finance at Société Générale, has resurfaced at Scotia Capital.

Scotia has hired Bonfield, who left SG in January, to grow its UK leveraged finance business. He will work alongside Louis Vaiani who oversees continental European leverage finance. Also joining the bank is Karen Kay who was previously with CIBC World Markets in Toronto
