ABN Amro has reshuffled its board and appointed Hugh Scott-Barrett chief operating officer of the managing board to cut costs.

Scott-Barrett jointly led the restructuring of ABN Amro's wholesale clients unit, which focuses on financial markets and investment banking, including the creation of a financial markets unit at the beginning of the year.
