George Soros's Soros Fund Management has tapped Scott Bessent as its chief investment officer, filling a void created recently when Keith Anderson left the legendary investor's firm.

"Scott has been a well known investor in the macro space for two decades," according to a letter sent Sunday to investors by Soros's sons, Robert Soros and Jonathan Soros, who have been top executives of the firm.
