Just four days after Scottish Media Group acquired a 14.9% stake in Scottish Radio Holdings, the Radio group has hired Goldman Sachs to help conduct a "review of the strategic options".
Scottish Radio has never used Goldman Sachs before, but is understood to have chosen the bank on the back of seeing it advise Ginger Media Group on its sale to Scottish Media Group earlier this year. Richard Campbell-Breeden and Simon Holden are the main team members at Goldman Sachs working for Scottish Radio.
