Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Lynne Wood as head of human resources.

Wood takes over from John Miller, who headed HR from London, but has now taken over other responsibilities in the group. Wood joins the fund manager from Murray Johnstone, the Scottish house that was bought last year by Aberdeen Asset Managers, where she held a similar role for the last three years.
