Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Ian Cormack as fund investment director and Gregor Macdonald as head of pan-European small cap research.

Macdonald and Cormack are joining from Standard Life Investments, where both were investment directors. Cormack will manage retail portfolios and has also taken on sector responsibilities, including mid-cap research. Macdonald will manage small cap retail funds including the reasearch of varous small cap sectors.
