Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has persuaded Jaki Platt to leave Perpetual in Henley to work as a retail sales director in Edinburgh, heading the retail services team.

Platt was head of pension sales at Perpetual, becoming head of sales for Invesco Life after Invesco's parent company, Amvescap, acquired Perpetual last year. She was responsible for developing relationships with independent financial advisers and employee benefit consultancies.
