SEAM clean-up claims Phillips

Mark Phillips, UK equities fund manager, is the latest name to fall foul of Scottish Equitable Asset Management's (SEAM) efforts to clean up its equities team's investment performance.

Phillips joined SEAM just a year ago from Stewart Ivory, following its takeover by Friends Provident, to run the main UK equities fund. His departure comes just four months after Andrew Hartley, formerly UK equities head, resigned.
