Ronald Dennis becomes the ninth former or current SAC Capital Advisors employee ensnared by an investigation into its practices.

Another former SAC Capital Advisors analyst was charged with insider trading, the ninth former or current employee of the giant investment firm to be ensnared by a years-long investigation into its practices.

Ronald Dennis, 44 years old, allegedly helped SAC and its affiliates earn $3.8 million in profits and avoided losses in trading the shares of Dell Inc. and Foundry Networks Inc., according to a complaint filed Thursday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
