SEC relaxes rules on analyst input

The Securities and Exchange Commission has approved rule changes to lift restrictions on the use of company research, in the latest of a string of amendments aimed at making US stock markets more accessible for international participants.

The changes relate to two National Association of Securities Dealers rules governing the use of research reports by overseas analysts and third parties.
