Bruce Davidson of SG Securities has moved from sell-side to buy-side by joining Axa Investment Managers as head of equity research, filling the role left vacant by Jason Maude's departure.

Davidson will be based in London, where he will report to Chris Cheetham, global chief investment officer. Davidson will be responsible for managing a team of 27 analysts.
