Senior Mena banker resigns from Bank of America Merrill Lynch

The head of Middle East, North Africa and Turkey investment banking and capital markets has resigned according to a source familiar with the matter

Waleed El-Amir, one of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's senior bankers in the Middle East, has resigned, a person familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

El-Amir was head of the group's Middle East, North Africa and Turkey investment banking and capital markets. He has spent 16 years working for Merrill.
