The former co-head of financial sponsors at UBS has become the latest City investment banker to take up a senior advisory role at one of the so-called 'Big Four' accountants.

Mark Gallagher, who left UBS as co-head of financial sponsors in Europe last year, will join KPMG's private equity division as head of origination this month.
