Seven banks to test blockchain trade network

A group of seven banks are planning to develop a blockchain-based information system to help small and medium-sized businesses to manage their domestic and international trade transactions.

Deutsche Bank, HSBC, KBC, Natixis, Rabobank, Societe Generale and UniCredit have signed an agreement to develop a new product called Digital Trade Chain, according to a January 16 statement.
